Why is society obsessed with how Black women are living? Honestly, I want to know. And I say obsessed because it seems like people go out of their way to police Black women’s bodies and our lives. Literally, out of the way. There are plenty of examples. The legendary “ Bonnet Debate” on social media. When people expressed how “classless”, “ ghetto” and “ ratchet” it is for Black women to leave the house wearing bonnets. Time out.
